Our story

Home Pest Safe was founded in 2012 by a former structural-engineering project manager who could not understand why a service category as technical as pest control was so consistently delivered with verbal estimates and vague guarantees.
Our answer was simple: treat every property like an engineering job. Walk it. Map it. Document every entry vector with photographs. Write a treatment plan with a measurable end state. And only then begin work.
Fourteen years later, that approach is the operating standard for every visit. The method scales because it is precise. The customer relationship lasts because the result is verifiable.

Lowest-impact treatment first
The strongest available product is rarely the right one. Our default is the lowest-toxicity formulation that solves the problem. Stronger options are escalation tools, not starting points.
Refuse the wrong job
If your property does not need a recurring plan, we will tell you. If a hardware-store product will solve your issue, we will say so. Long-term reputation is worth more than a single service call.

Pest control is a regulated profession in New York State. Below are the certifications and operating standards that govern every visit.
NYS Pesticide Applicator Certification
Every technician on every visit holds a current 7A/7F applicator certification from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. License numbers appear on every invoice and visit log.
EPA-registered products only
We use only products with current EPA registration and active New York State approval. Our active product list is reviewed quarterly against the latest regulatory updates.
$2M general liability coverage
Every property we service is covered under our $2,000,000 general liability and pollution-liability policies. Certificates of insurance are available on request before any service begins.
Continuing education program
Technicians complete a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education annually — well above the state requirement — covering integrated pest management, structural diagnostics, and product-specific safety updates.

Lower Westchester
